Services
Every family is unique. Death doulas bring a diverse skill set for each family they serve. Because of this, I offer an hourly wage for virtual (nationwide) and in-person visits (Los Angeles, CA). Within our sessions, I will respond to your immediate needs and we will develop short and long-term goals.
I also offer packages for specific services in addition to our sessions. Outside of scheduled meetings, I am available by text and email and will respond within 48 business hours, unless there is an active vigil, in which case I provide on-call availability. If the prices listed are outside of your budget, please schedule a free consultation so we can work out a plan that works for your family.

Because I live in Los Angeles, transportation can be tricky for in-person visits. Outside of a ten-mile radius from my residence, I charge an extra flat fee of $20 for off-peak times and $60 for peak rush hour times. If you live outside of the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, please contact me to make arrangements, I am happy to accommodate to your needs.

Advance care directives, vigil plans, funeral preparations, and more... whether you are planning for your own death or a caregiver for someone dying, I can help clarify your values and focus them into a clear and comprehensive plan. Preparing for your own death is a powerful way to caretake your loved ones, even after you are gone.
End-of-Life Planning
Caregivers are often overlooked, yet they bear most of the emotional and physical costs of caring for the dying. During our sessions we can focus on identifying community and social resources, delegating tasks, and building a practice of daily self-care rituals suited to the realistic demands of caregiving.
Caregiver Support
Humans have created ceremonies to honor important life events for as long as we have been human. Rituals create powerful containers for moving energy and building community. I can help you fashion a funeral ceremony, celebration of life, memorial, or grief ritual to help carry you through the labor of death.
Ceremony
With over a decade of experience of daily meditation practice, we can use some of our sessions in guided meditation to help cope with death anxiety, anticipatory grief, life review, or any other stressors which arise in our work together. I can also connect you with religion-specific practitioners if you do not belong to a religious community and are in need of additional spiritual guidance.
Mindfulness
Although all of us experience grief many times throughout our lives, it can often be isolating. We aren't taught how to be with our own or other's grief. There is immense value in sitting with grief and allowing it to move through us. My role is to help this process by serving as a companion in the manifold aspects of grief, to bear witness, and remind you that you are not alone.
Grief Support
Care for someone doesn't end when one dies, and families can experience an overwhelm of decisions and logistics amidst grief. Beyond after-death care education workshops, I can also support you through preparing for a funeral, closing accounts, managing belongings, and supporting you through processes such as probate, family reconciliation, and preserving legacies.

Swedish Death Cleaning

Döstädning, or Swedish death cleaning, is a term coined by Margareta Magnusson, which refers to the practice of decluttering as a means to care for those we leave behind.

Includes planning conversation and one 3-hour session where we will sort through belongings while incorporating mindfulness techniques and storytelling.

Legacy Project

A 10-15 minute video including interview clips, a narrated slideshow, and an ethical will.

Over the course of a month, we will meet 1-2 hours every week and have recorded casual conversations which I will then edit into a precious keepsake for the family.

Vigil
Support

24/7 on-call availability for one week with eight hour blocks of respite care per day.

Priority support, I will reschedule all existing appointments to be 100% present.

Workshop

Three hour hands-on workshop covering body care and home funeral education.

Please invite anyone anticipated to participate in the after-death care.

I will travel to you and bring the necessary tools to practice bathing, anointing, and preparing a body for a home funeral. We will also cover things to prepare for facilitating a home funeral like scheduling, delegation of tasks, and creating a ceremony.
